It's over, baby

Florida's Everblades declawed the Wildcatters 4-3 in overtime on Friday in Florida. The game ended the Wildcatters' bid for the championship. They'll return to Ford Arena next year to try again.

True, there aren't any ice rinks other than the Catters here. (What's up with that?)

Hey, there's an idea... swamp hockey. They can play it in a crawfish pond and the loosers get fed to gators.

While I'm at it, why isn't there a pro airboat series? They're much noisier than cars and rear-end wrecks would be much more colorful - all red. Toss a few 12-foot gators into the pit, sell boiled crawfish, let people bring their own coolers and it's a keeper. I'm sure Mardi Gras costumes and beads could work into it somewhere.

Mind you, the pre-race flyover is a crop duster killing the mosquitos. :-)

Mark I think you have captured the essence of SETX with that suggestion. :P
