Jarrah Yvette Davis funeral

So sad and infuriating to see young lives cut short like this. As the pastor said, "We are living in a time when people get murdered for nothing." Though I suspect that may have been true since time immemorial . . .

These must be emotionally difficult assignments for y'all. Good job getting the story across.

Thank you. It was very emotional.

The newspaper has a good policy. We only cover funerals with the family's permission. We're there to honor those who have passed and their family. If they don't wish to be honored and remembered, we don't want to intrude.

The family understands our purpose and wants help finding the person who murdered these two women.
