Was the pot of gold under the water?

I'm not sure. The Coast Guard was patrolling the area, so I guess there could've been one.

Does that rainbow show up often? I rode through Beaumont once and all I saw was a big traffic jam and a rainbow (which made it hard to complain about the traffic). That's a sad story up top. The photos are really touching though.

Rainbows are a refraction of light through rain. They visibly occur before 10 a.m. and after 4 p.m. as sunlight rakes through the rain. They're most common in the spring and fall because the sun's light wavelength shifts and cold fronts produce more frequent rain.
