Hey Mark,
I noticed that you recently covered a wildfire. I was wondering if you could possibly make a post on how to cover wildfires (access, laws, not burning yourself to death, etc). Thanks, hope all is well!
Dude, this photo just makes me want to sit down, share a beer, and make him smile on his birthday. I feel sorry for him. Great photo, though.

Great and timely idea. I'll get to work on it, but it's the dreaded season, so it may be a week or two. The short answer is don't take bad risks, wear protective clothes, try to stay on public land and have lots of water. :-)
I agree with Marie. Nice moment, though.
