First Baptist Church fire in Kountze

Firefighters from several Southeast Texas communities help battle a blaze at the First Baptist Church in Kountze. The historic church was consumed by the fire.

How old was the church and what length lens did you shoot it with?

I'm guessing 300?

The story states the church was built in 1953. I shot with standard 80-200mm and 17-35mm zooms.

This is Gerry at the Silsbee Bee.
I thought it was a travesty that your firefighters shot was played postage-stamp size on the front of Sunday's paper.
It was a great shot and deserved better play. I know the Sunday front was built early, but the editors have to be willing to adjust to the news. They didn't and you (and the readers) got robbed.
Thank goodness there was a slideshow of your stuff on the Web site.
