Woodville stars play for Lone Star 2A title

The five Woodville High School starters pose for a portrait at the school in Woodville on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008. Starters include (clockwise from top) Brooke Taylor, Chastity Foster, Ne'Tia Barlow, Brittany Robinson and Meisha McNeal. The team is competing to be named the best 2A girls basketball team in the Lone Star state.

Dewey spider

A spider waits in a dewey web in Tyler County on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007. Wednesday morning's thick fog made driving difficult throughout Southeast Texas.

Tom's Meat Market reopens

Tom's Meat Market in Spurger, Texas has been largely repaired by Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006. Hurricane Rita destroyed the grocery store, which forced community residents to drive many miles to get fresh meat.
