Sabine surfing

Windsurfers took advantage of the unusually strong winds while much of Southeast Texas was negatively affected. Flight delays were common at Houston's airport today.

Chris Ihle of Port Arthur returns after wind surfing at Pleasure Island in Port Arthur. The surfers said the powerful, gusting winds were difficult to safely control.

Sweet! I love windsurfing....haven't been in years. I wanna learn me some kitesurfing...

Kitesurfing looks like something I would want to try too. If nothing else, you're less of a target for the sharks and gators here. ;-}

Isn't it a little cold there to be surfing this month? Oh yeah, you get to ski. Bum.
