Congratulations on the move Michael. I have loved seeing your stuff come over APAD and am excited to see your work from India.
What made you decide to go with Redux as your agency and what was the process like of getting representation?
Now that you are in India, do you have clients contact you with editorial assignments or is most of your work self assigned and then marketed to different publications?
Before you left for India, did you spend time in New York showing your book and making contact with different photo editors or did Redux act as a go between.
Thanks,
Benjamin

Ben,
Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you on this. Ms. Lyttle just pointed this comment out to me. Let me see if I can answer your questions....
Redux:
I decided to work with Redux for a number of reasons. The first was reputation. Redux has a first rate reputation in the industry both for the clients it sells to and the photographers it represents. I love many of the other photographers represented by Redux. I like the work they do and I feel that my work works well with the stable that they have. I had about three months worth of conversations with Marcel and Jasmine before I finally decided to move to India and begin working with Redux and it has been a pleasure, let me tell you.
India:
Most of my work in India comes through Redux or through the New York Times. I shoot my own stuff on the side but it rarely gets sold. As time goes on my stock work will get picked up and add to my income which will be a nice cushion. I've only been here for three months so we'll see what happens as time goes on.
New York:
A bit of both. Redux set most of my appointments and then I went around for a week showing my book to whoever would look at it. It was great. I missed a few prime assignments because I was still moving but for the most part its worked well. I've picked up a few new clients since I've been here and I'm hoping to figure out some ways to tie in my old clients.
Hope that answers your questions! Feel free to email me when you get a chance if you have any more.

Thanks Michael,
You had already answered his questions in Part B of your interview. However, there's never too much information. :-)
