We're back

Fayrouz and I are back in Dallas after hunting for a perfect home in Beaumont. We secured an excellent condo in such a convenient location it's still hard to believe. Every store we frequent in Dallas has a branch located literally across the street. It takes less time to walk than drive to Barnes & Noble or the Wal-Mart super center. We might drive to the mall, but we can see it from the condo. So cool. :-)

Enough for now,

Mark, that 's wonderful. I'm so glad things are coming together for you. Now, COME VISIT PORTLAND!

You're getting married or I'd suggest you come visit Beaumont. ;-}
Unless I get an assignment there, it'll be a while before I get to visit the Northwest.

Ya, I might just come visit you. I am a little afraid of Texas growing up in NYC and all...I should over come my fear and come hang out for a bit.

From what I've seen, everyone is beautiful in Beaumont. It applies to all genders, races and ages. It's startling to see a whole city of attractive people.
I'm accustomed to being "average" looking. In Beaumont they'll wonder who beat me with an ugly stick.
BTW, Beaumont is like Dallas was 25 years ago. Everyone seems very nice, polite, courteous and laid back.

I can't wait to see Beaumont through your eyes!
