Very informative blog, especially the hurricane info. I was able to photograph the aftermath of Wilma. This storm was different for South Florida because it intensified over the Everglades, hitting Broward Co (Ft. Lauderdale area) hard.
Relief came to residents in an unusal occurance of a mass of cool air following the storm. That's what happens with lots of late season hurricanes.
