Ben Verde, son of the owner of Creative Impressions, shovels parts of the destroyed building into a trash bin at the business on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2007. The former printing company and all of its equipment were destroyed by Hurricane Rita. The City of Beaumont is working with the owners of more than 600 structures tagged for demolition. Most of the structures were damaged or destroyed during the hurricane and owners are still haggling with insurance companies and FEMA.
