Club Salsa

It's all about the shoes isn't it? ;-}

Red is always difficult because there aren't as many sensors picking it up and most texture is lost. The fact she was dancing and I was shooting f/2.8 at 1/8th didn't help. There were many blurry frames surrounding this one.

Correction, Frank at shootfilm.net had me check my exif file. It's actually 1/15th not 1/8th. Thanks for keeping me honest. :-)

How were you lighting the dance floor shots? Its so even.

A hand-held flash on a synch cord with a SoftMax softbox and a tungsten gel. The flash was set on manual at 1/4th power at f/4 (800 iso). I tipped-in the light over their heads.
