Hoopin' Hawks
Hebron High School's Brittany Butler (No. 20, right) tries to move past Grapevine High School's Emily Harvell (No. 24, left) during a basketball game at Hebron High School in Carrollton on Tuesday, December 7, 2004.
What kind of light source do you use to shoot basketball games? Remote flash or speedlite? You're image is well-lit throughout the entire frame, without the hard light on the main subjects brought about by an on-camera flash.
I use "The Beast." It's a Norman P-2000. I place it on the top bleacher of an arena or gym and bounce it off the wall if the wall color is neutral enough. I synch it with Pocket Wizards.
