I can hardly wait to show y'all what I've seen in the last week. Unfortunately, by the time I get home, it's time to crash and then get back up to shoot some more. Everything has moved incredibly fast from the time the wind stopped blowing large objects around.
Fayrouz has a major recap of the situation on her blog. Since she was with us several of the days to help with image transmission (each image took seven minutes, and often had to be sent twice), she can speak for me on this disaster.
Texans aren't known as whiners. Consequently, there's not a lot on the national news about us. Frankly, we were clobbered. Since then, we picked ourselves up, didn't bother to dust off and immediately got to work trying to fix what got broke. A LOT got broke here. You'll see soon.
We're all tired of shooting damage and chainsaws. But it's all damage and chainsaws now. I've got to be up pre-dawn tomorrow, so again no time for images. Fay linked to some of ours on her blog, so it gives an idea of what's happening around here.
Enough for now,

Keep hanging in there. I can't wait to see some of your images.
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier (one of my freelance clients) ran your photo of the Target reconstruction full color and four columns wide.
Nice job.
Cool. :-)
We ran it 6 columns as our light at the end of the tunnel "punch" image for our collector's return print edition.
Starting yesterday, we are back to daily publication. They're being printed in San Antonio and trucked here until our press is back up.
We're all carriers in addition to editorial. We take a few bundles in the morning and hand out papers to anyone we see each day.
I can't wait to see either Mark.
Long live editorial! I hope you all get a great big Christmas bonus.
