Brush fire

Rich Dottellis of the Texas Forest Service back-burns a fire in Evadale on Thursday, April 28, 2005. Many small fires have blazed in the area due to dry underbrush conditions.

Thanks.
Less than 2 seconds after this image, everything between us burst into flames. We both had to scramble in opposite directions.

In my brief career I have yet to have covered a fire. My friends and I always joke that no Photojournalism portfolio is complete until you have some smoke and falmes.

Looks like it was exciting!

Actually, it was a boring little brush fire except for the two seconds immediately after this image.
