Hurricanes influence migration

A brown pelican hunts for fish near Pleasure Island in Port Arthur on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006. After Hurricane Katrina, only 25 percent of the Chandeleur Islands - the pelicans' natural habitat, remain. Many bird watchers are interested to see how this year's migration will change as a result of hurricanes Rita and Katrina.
