Arson Annie

Was it necessary to put (bottom) and (center) in your captions?

That's the style at most newspapers and wires. If we answer all questions in the cutline, we don't get a call at midnight or 6 a.m. from the desk.
It's particularly important with animals. Otherwise, you open yourself to potential (frivolous) lawsuits.
Make an image of a lawyer and a pig in one frame. Run the names without a directional ID. Then, see what happens. It's called defamation of character and worth more than most PJs earn each decade.
